BOXT were ready to revolutionise the boiler market. But as a start-up, no one knew them or trusted their e-commerce model. It was our job to launch the brand and help them hit some ambitious sales targets.

 
 
 

No call centre, no salesman and no surveyors. Just a really clever website, cut prices and a new boiler fitted within 24 hours. It’s so simple, BOXT turns the process of buying a boiler on its head.

That gave us an idea. Brain Boxt. A character that defines the brand and embodies all its great benefits.

We devised a suite of teaser ads featuring the character and started production. Calling in the right crew for the job, we sourced the cast and began the process with Clearcast, the TV advertising approval system. The one-day shoot provided plenty of footage to produce a suite of 10-second teasers. With that in the can, we edited and graded the films, recorded the voiceover and delivered the ads to ITV.

They were an instant success – hitting the first month's sales target within a week.
